This world is full of strange & little things that we are unaware of. We think we might know them well, but actually, we don't.

Sometimes very little & common things amaze us & make us feel so strange about it.

Star Indian boxer Vijender Singh continued his remarkably dominant run in the professional circuit, notching up a third successive knockout triumph by thrashing Bulgaria’s Samet Hyuseinov in less than two rounds in Manchester on Saturday.

Barely 35 seconds into the second round of what was to be his maiden six-round contest, Vijender cornered Hyuseinov with a flurry of combination punches to force the referee into stopping the bout and give the Indian a win via Technical Knockout.

The former Olympic and World Championships bronze-medallist thus continues to remain unbeaten since making his debut in October, all three of his wins being knockouts in under three rounds.

“I practice a lot when I am sparring so that helps me finish it off early in actual contest,” Vijender said after the bout.

With a sizeable crowd in attendance to cheer him, Vijender walked in to the beats of ‘Singh is King’ and made sure that the song resonated well after he was done with the job inside the ring.

For all his tall talk before the bout, Hyuseinov looked intimidated the moment Vijender stepped in. While the Indian moved around confidently and had the Bulgarian on the back foot with his telling jabs and piercing left uppercuts, Hyuseinov seemed clueless on whether to go all out or stick to counter-attack.

27 Things You Need To Do Before You Settle In your Life

Watch Video Here

“We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us”

We all need vacations. At least once a year. Twice is better. Whether you decide to travel within your country, or outside your country depends on you and your budget. But in the end, if we want to unwind ourselves, add zest to our life from all the hustle-bustle of our mundane lifestyle, and the constant pressures from the office, we need breaks. All works and no plays make Jack a dull boy. Here, our “plays” are a suitcase, some clothes, essential necessities, tickets, passport, and off to explore the world.

The reason why people who tend to travel often succeed more at work than those who don’t is because travelling diversifies one’s mind. You want to know in details? Read on.

1. They are open-minded.
People who are involved in office works, especially the high level corporate office leaders have agreed that once they come back from a holiday, they tend to focus more on works. Their minds get fresh, more open towards the world. They are more ambitious, they have a clearer perspective on everything, and more importantly, they are more optimistic.

2. They have a wider range in networking.
When you are visiting another country for a conference, or workshops, you are inclined to meet people from different parts of the world. This helps you to promote yourself, to build up a social networking. These people stay in your contact lists. This is a crucial point if you are keen to expand your networking.

3. They are good at organizing.
If your service involves logistic problems, HR, accounting, or anything related to handling cash, then this will help you to organize better. How? If you plan to travel to a different country, regardless of whether you are travelling alone, with family, friends, or even business trips, you are steering a lot of things—things like taking care of your passport, different currency, where to stay, what to do, where to eat, looking after your companion(s), etc. Once you are back to the office, your tasks will seem easier for you to complete.

4. They know a lot about other cultures.
When you are on an overseas travel, your eyes open up to different cultures. Having first hand multi-cultural experiences will aid you to understand how people handle different situations regarding life or office works. Observing international style of work will able you to apply some to your own occupation as well.

5. They are better at socializing.
International travel means a scope for acquiring knowledge about different cultures, languages, etc. Those cultures, languages, society, everything is dissimilar to your own. You can take a short language lesson prior to visiting the country, or buy a translated book, but whatever it is that you do, you will always be tested at your social skill. This includes how well you articulate in that foreign country with the locals, your patience, your tactfulness, and your etiquette. If you can succeed in this “examination,” then you can easily thrive in your career.

6. They get a fresh start after every trip.
What happens when your electronic device freezes? You restart or refresh it, and it starts working fine again. Similarly, we all need to reinvigorate our brains at one point in time. And the best way to do that is to take a break, even if it’s for a short period of time. Going abroad is a  better therapy. A pleasure trip will make you forget about your everyday chores, and your hectic life. Trips like these will leave you fall in love with the world, will energise you, and make you a better person. Once you travel back home, you know you are ready to face the reality with a fresh mind.

5 Motivational and Inspiring Short Stories

 1. Everyone Has a Story in Life

A 24 year old boy seeing out from the train’s window shouted…

“Dad, look the trees are going behind!”

Dad smiled and a young couple sitting nearby, looked at the 24 year old’s childish behavior with pity, suddenly he again exclaimed…

“Dad, look the clouds are running with us!”

The couple couldn’t resist and said to the old man…

“Why don’t you take your son to a good doctor?”The old man smiled and said…“I did and we are just coming from the hospital, my son was blind from birth, he just got his eyes today.

Every single person on the planet has a story. Don’t judge people before you truly know them. The truth might surprise you.

2. Shake off Your Problems

A man's favorite donkey falls into a deep precipice; He can't pull it out no matter how hard he tries; He therefore decides to bury it alive.

Soil is poured onto the donkey from above. The donkey feels the load, shakes it off, and steps on it; More soil is poured.

It shakes it off and steps up; The more the load was poured, the higher it rose; By noon, the donkey was grazing in green pastures.

After much shaking off (of problems) And stepping up (learning from them), One will graze in GREEN PASTURES.

3. The Elephant Rope

As a man was passing the elephants, he suddenly stopped, confused by the fact that these huge creatures were being held by only a small rope tied to their front leg. No chains, no cages. It was obvious that the elephants could, at anytime, break away from their bonds but for some reason, they did not.

He saw a trainer nearby and asked why these animals just stood there and made no attempt to get away. “Well,” trainer said, “when they are very young and much smaller we use the same size rope to tie them and, at that age, it’s enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free.”

The man was amazed. These animals could at any time break free from their bonds but because they believed they couldn’t, they were stuck right where they were.

Like the elephants, how many of us go through life hanging onto a belief that we cannot do something, simply because we failed at it once before?

Failure is part of learning; we should never give up the struggle in life.

4. Potatoes, Eggs, and Coffee Beans

Once upon a time a daughter complained to her father that her life was miserable and that she didn’t know how she was going to make it. She was tired of fighting and struggling all the time. It seemed just as one problem was solved, another one soon followed.

Her father, a chef, took her to the kitchen. He filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Once the three pots began to boil, he placed potatoes in one pot, eggs in the second pot, and ground coffee beans in the third pot.

He then let them sit and boil, without saying a word to his daughter. The daughter, moaned and impatiently waited, wondering what he was doing.

After twenty minutes he turned off the burners. He took the potatoes out of the pot and placed them in a bowl. He pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl.

He then ladled the coffee out and placed it in a cup. Turning to her he asked. “Daughter, what do you see?”

“Potatoes, eggs, and coffee,” she hastily replied.

“Look closer,” he said, “and touch the potatoes.” She did and noted that they were soft. He then asked her to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard-boiled egg. Finally, he asked her to sip the coffee. Its rich aroma brought a smile to her face.

“Father, what does this mean?” she asked.

He then explained that the potatoes, the eggs and coffee beans had each faced the same adversity– the boiling water.

However, each one reacted differently.

The potato went in strong, hard, and unrelenting, but in boiling water, it became soft and weak.

The egg was fragile, with the thin outer shell protecting its liquid interior until it was put in the boiling water. Then the inside of the egg became hard.

However, the ground coffee beans were unique. After they were exposed to the boiling water, they changed the water and created something new.

“Which are you,” he asked his daughter. “When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a potato, an egg, or a coffee bean? “

Moral:In life, things happen around us, things happen to us, but the only thing that truly matters is what happens within us.

Which one are you?

5. A Dish of Ice Cream

In the days when an ice cream sundae cost much less, a 10 year old boy entered a hotel coffee shop and sat at a table. A waitress put a glass of water in front of him.

“How much is an ice cream sundae?”

“50 cents,” replied the waitress.

The little boy pulled his hand out of his pocket and studied a number of coins in it.

“How much is a dish of plain ice cream?” he inquired. Some people were now waiting for a table and the waitress was a bit impatient.

“35 cents,” she said brusquely.

The little boy again counted the coins. “I’ll have the plain ice cream,” he said.

The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill on the table and walked away. The boy finished the ice cream, paid the cashier and departed.

When the waitress came back, she began wiping down the table and then swallowed hard at what she saw.

There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, were 15 cents – her tip.
10 Steps to Get Rich Guaranteed by  Grant Cardone

Grant Cardone

I was brought up in a lower middle-class family by a single mother that had three children to raise on just a little bit of money and no income. I know how difficult money can be. The entire subject overwhelmed me. I had more money when I was 8 years of age than when I was 25. I wasn't a bad person and I wasn't stupid. I had just finished college with an accounting degree. Literally I had been studying accounting, economics, math and business for five years and I was broke.
Why? Because I was stuck with knowledge about money from my upbringing. If you were brought up poor or middle class you spend the rest of your life with the beliefs of the poor and the middle class.
The simplicity of economics is amazing and not as complicated as the schools, universities, books and CNBC try to make it. Money and Economics, even getting rich and financial freedom is VERY simple to accomplish.
1) Fix Your Money Shortage Mindset
2) Invest More Spend Less
3) Rate Your Expenditures
4) Play Offense Not Defense
5) Use Debt to Produce Income
6) Create Emergency Accounts
7) Pay YOU First
8) Sacred Investment Accounts
9) Correct Income Formula
10) Who's Got My Money
If you were born poor or brought up middle-class the way I was you have to figure out how to get your money right. Each of these steps above when put together will force you into one reality - increase your income, keep hustling, stay focused on freedom not wages, and stay disciplined.
Financial freedom is a game of offense, not defense. Also remember anyone that tells you money won't make you happy never had enough money to know.

MBA Vs. Masters: Which is Better?

When it comes to choosing the right management program, students often face the confusion of choosing either a masters or an MBA program

that for an MBA program, schools generally require work experience. MBA programs typically demand work experience of 5 or 6 years. These are generally for those who are already in a management position, with a team working under them, and are looking to climb up the corporate ladder. For individuals who fall under this category who know how to manage budgets and people, MBA programs are the right study option.

The Masters in Management, however, is for freshers and students with no experience in the field. Generally for those who have completed an undergraduate degree and have a year or two  of experience, the Masters in Management is the right choice. This will give them ground standing in the area he chooses and is more specific and technical in nature. On completion, students may work in senior positions but these won’t fetch them promotions to top managerial roles. For reaching these kind of positions,
MBA is required. After completion of the masters, students are suggested to work and acquire 4- 5 years of experience and then go for an MBA program.
MBAs available in Singapore that require no experience. Such MBA programs are offered by MDIS and James Cook University in Singapore and in the UK institutions such as Aberdeen and Cardiff offer such programmes. These however will not be valued as they will not be accredited by bodies such as AMBA, AACSB and EQUIS and fails to serve the purpose of an MBA degree and is just like any other degree.

To score excellent marks for any entrance examination, it is imperative that the candidate should prepare well . Even for the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE), one of the toughest entrance exams, students have to put in extra effort when studying for the examination.

Important Preparation Tips to crack GATE

Here are the some important tips to prepare for GATE 2016:

  • Candidates have to know the pattern and syllabus of the examination and they have to prepare according to it.
  • Preparation time for GATE is subjective and depends on many factors such as individual's aptitude, fundamentals, attitude, concentration level etc.,
  • Typically, a rigorous preparation of 4-6 months is considered good enough for getting into IISc or IITs.
  • Candidates need to collect or buy the best reference books for preparation. These reference books shall cover the complete syllabus, sample question papers and solved papers, as well.
  • Make a list of subjects and prioritise them based on the marks allotted to them. Now, create a timetable with distribution of subjects.
  • Note that, if the distribution is not prepared, then you usually end up learning random topics, which may lead to confusion at the end.
  • Start reading all the chapters and prepare short notes on all important points. In this way, your revision is also complete.
  • These short notes will also be useful for your last-minute revision. Solve objective type (especially numerical) questions as much as possible.
  • While solving problems, students must have a balance between speed & accuracy. It may not be possible to cover the entire syllabus.
  • Whatever topics you decide to study, make sure that you know everything about it. Join a reliable coaching institute which has experienced faculty which will prepare you for your exam.
  • Do not practice questions in rough paper, as there may be questions you need to go through at the time of revision.
  • Go through previous year papers (say last ten years), to check your knowledge and note the distribution of different topics.
  • Finish a detailed reading of all topics you plan to cover at least one and half months before. Keep one month for revisions and clearing leftover doubts.
  • Have a look of questions you solved during preparation for GATE and remember how you solved them.
  • Do not strain yourself till the last minute.
  • Leave all your books aside for a few days before the exam.
  • Have a good time and relax.

Cricket as a game is a form of pure entertainment. Like every sport , cricket is bound by rules and regulations. In fact, there is a Law Book written particularly for the purpose by the Marylborne Cricket Club (MCC) since its formation in 1787. There are 42 laws in cricket which deals on various subjects. These laws ensure that the game is played within the right spirit. However, there are some rules which are unknown to a common fan because they hardly come into play. Here is the list of five laws which are not very popular.5 unknown laws of cricket

 LOST BALL
We have seen a ball is never recovered or found after being hit out of the ground by a batsman. In this case, umpires call for a new ball and the game starts once again. However, you may be surprised that a rule is written about the lost ball. The Law 20 states that if, during play, the ball is lost, or is unable to be recovered, the fielding side can call it a “Lost ball”. The batting side can then keep the penalty runs (if it a no-ball) along with the actual run (4 or a 6) hit by the batsman or ran by the batsmen.

HANDLING THE BALL
Handling the ball is one of the ten methods of dismissing a batsman in the sport of cricket. It dictates that a batsman can be given out if he intentionally touches the ball with his hand. An exception is given if a batsman handles the ball to avoid any sort of injury. It is governed by Law 33 in the laws of cricket and is a rare way for a batsman to be dismissed. In the history of cricket, there have been 56 instances in first-class matches and 4 occasions in List A games where a batsman has been given out handling the ball.

FORFEITURE
In the sport of cricket, a forfeiture occurs when a captain chooses to forfeit an entire innings. It is covered in Law 14 of the laws of cricket. This concept applies only to matches in which each team is scheduled to bat in two innings. This is not applicable in shorter formats of the game. Under the current laws, a captain may forfeit any of his side’s innings in a Test match. A forfeited innings shall be considered as complete. There is only one such instance when an entire inning was forfeited by two leading international captains. It happened during the fifth and final Test between South Africa and England at Centurion in 2000. South Africa had already won the series and were 2–0 up after the first four matches. The rain washed out three days after South Africa had scored 155 for 6. Hansie Cronje, the then South African captain, entered into a deal with his English counterpart, Nasser Hussain, that South Africa would continue batting till they reached somewhere near to 250 and then declare. England and then South Africa would then both forfeit an innings, leaving England approximately 250 to win (in the event the target was 249). South Africa scored 248/8 before declaring their inning. England went on to score the required runs and won the match by 2 wickets.

MANKADING
As a bowler enters his delivery stride, the non-striking batsman usually ‘backs up’. This means he leaves his popping crease and walks towards the other end of the wicket so that it will take him less time to reach the other end if he and his batting partner choose to attempt a run. Sometimes a batsman, whilst backing up, leaves the popping crease before the bowler has actually delivered the ball. In this case, the bowler may attempt to run-out the non-striking batsman. Getting a batsman out this way is generally considered to be against the spirit of the game despite being legal. It is governed by Law 38 in the Laws of cricket. The name Mankading was given because of the fact that it was Vinoo Mankad who first enforced such a dismissal while bowling. He ran out Bill Brown in 1947. The last time Mankading took place in international cricket was in 2014. Sachithra Senanayake, the Sri Lankan off-spinner, ran out non-striker Jos Buttler during the fifth ODI against England.

RESTRICTIONS ON INJURED FIELDER
When a bowler leaves the ground due to an injury and is replaced by a substitute fielder, he/she is generally not permitted to return and immediately resume bowling. The injured bowler is required to spend a period of time back on the field equal to the time that he was absent before resuming bowling. For example: If the player happens to be out of the field for a span of over 15 minutes, he shall not be allowed to bowl or bat (during the course of his team’s batting) for the exact length of the time for which he was out. Also, there are further restrictions about this. If a player, who has earlier left the field fail to inform the on-field umpires about his return to the field, and if it happens that the fielder fields a ball, the umpire shall offer 5 penalty runs to the batting team.

A TEDx speaker, co-founder of world’s first android smart-watch company, managing operations in an NGO and being invited by US president Barack Obama, Siddhant Vats is all you can dream of. This boy from Patna (Bihar) achieved all this and much more when he was only 19 years old.

Siddhant-Vats

You will realize there’s something different and crazy about Siddhant Vats within a matter of a few minutes of speaking to him. There is a deep passion to chase his dreams. He even dropped out of high school to follow this chase. He recalls, “My parents were in a state of shock to learn about my decision of delaying my studies; they continue to be so till date.”
Here’s an account of the journey of this inspirational youngster.
‘I’m a dreamer’
There’s something special about Siddhant Vats, and to name a few things which distinctly place him ahead of his peers, include:
He is a dreamer. That’s the first thing which helped him become an entrepreneur.  He doesn’t hesitate in taking risks. In fact, he doesn’t consider them risky at all.
He believes that like the Bollywood movies, everything ends well; otherwise it’s not the end. (Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost).
He started his NGO when he was in the 8th grade.
He didn’t constrain himself within rules. He has done whatever he wanted to do  which he feels was morally right for him.
Feathers in the hat
AndroidlyTEAMAndroidly Systems
Siddhant founded Androidly Systems with Apurva Sukant and two other friends when he was just 17 years old. He says,
We were responsible for making the world’s first Android smart-watch. We named the watch ‘Androidly’. Through this watch you can make calls, browse the Internet, use Whatsapp, listen to music, and click pictures. Practically, you can do anything which your phone can do.
He even delayed his high school education by two years for this. Androidly smart-watch is available across the globe since mid 2013 at $220. It has been sold across 110 countries and the next version is scheduled to be rolled out by Aug-Sep this year. Siddhant says, “The upcoming Androidly smart-watches will run the latest Android version and the design will be closer to that of an actual watch (unlike the current one which seems too big). It can be worn as a fashion accessory as well.”
The Falak Foundation
Started by Siddhant’s mother, NGO ‘Falak Foundation’ works in the field of education, health and social awareness. When Siddhant was in the seventh grade, he started teaching basic computer skills, English and mathematics to children.  Later, he was involved in operations of the NGO and in organising blood donations camps and  health checkups for the community.
Speaking about the biggest achievement of the NGO, Siddhant says,”Through my NGO, I was successfully able to build an international monastery in Bodhgaya in collaboration with a monastery based in Virginia, USA. It was done through heavy foreign investment and witnessed over 1000 delegates on the inauguration day itself. This is going to help Bihar’s economy in its own little way and also boost the economy through tourism.”
Siddhant has attended and spoken at over 100 conferences, including Tedx, Horasis Business Meet (nominated among the top 100 business innovators of the world) and the BIG IF (along with Bill Gates).
He has received an award from the Prime Minister of India’s office for outstanding entrepreneurship and was invited by President Obama at the White House as well.
Drive and Inspiration
According to Siddhant, “I never enjoyed doing one thing for a long time. That’s what keeps me going. I want to chase my dreams. I want to do anything and whatever comes to my mind. Nothing inspires me. I just want to do something and then I land up doing it because I feel I have too much time for everything.”
Siddhant, AndroidlyChallenges
Siddhant pointed out that the biggest challenge in India is our neighbors and family friends who will discourage you.
They will tell you your idea is not worth anything. Not just that, everyone apart from you and sometimes even your team members will give you many reasons on why an idea won’t work. Nobody will come and tell me how it will work.
Leadership Summit – Next in cards
Siddhant wants to build an international platform where people from different fields can connect and inspire others. “Leadership summit (name of the platform) will be on the lines of TED. There will be a conclave where people get a chance to share their inspiring stories. Moreover, this will be further extended to reach across colleges and even schools,” he says, elaborating his plans.
“Apart from that, I honestly don’t know. I might just get any idea randomly, and I will start working on it,” he adds.

You can say hello to Siddhant on twitter @siddhantvats and follow his facebook page.
The Size And Shape Of Your Hand Says A Lot About You. You'll Find Yours Here For Sure.

You and your hands know each other well. You spend a lot of the day looking at them, especially if you work at a computer all day like millions of Americans. You may have never imagined that someone would take the time to figure out how your hands may be connected to your personality but it's been done (there's nothing you won't find on the internet. Nothing.). Check out this list of hand characteristics and see how your sluggers match up.

First, Measure Your Mitts

First thing is first, we have to know how big your hands are proportionate to your body. When considering hand size, professionals are less concerned with "average hand sizes" across a large population (spare people with anomalous hand sizes) and focus more on how big your hands are on you.

           How To Smoke

Tech engineers are regarded as some of the smartest people in the world.

But even they have a hard time answering the brain teaser questions a lot of tech companies like to ask during job interviews. We went through Glassdoor to find some of the trickiest questions they get asked, and the best way to answer them.

Q1: How many trailing zeros are in the number 5! (5 factorial)?

Trickiest Questions Engineers Always Struggle To Answer In An Interview

Trickiest Questions Engineers Always Struggle To Answer In An Interview
Business Insider
Asked to: Systems engineer at Google

Suggested answers:

Option 1: 5!=120. So there is 1 trailing zero.

Option 2: This sounds like one geared not so much towards getting the right answer, but getting to it the right way. If you think a bit and say "one", the interviewer will know you did it the brute-force way, doing the math. You'd get at the answer faster, and probably impress them more, if you think instead how many times a ten will be produced in doing that math, rather than what the actual result of the math will be.

Q2: You have two light bulbs at a 100-story building. You want to find the floor at which the bulbs will break when dropped. Find the floor using the least number of drops.

Trickiest Questions Engineers Always Struggle To Answer In An Interview

Trickiest Questions Engineers Always Struggle To Answer In An Interview
Business Insider
Asked to: Software engineer at Facebook

Suggested answers:

Option 1: Start moving up in increments of 10 floors and dropping the bulb until it breaks (ie: drop from floor 10, if it doesn't break, drop from floor 20, etc.). Once the bulb breaks, move down to the floor before it broke on and start moving up floors in increments of one until the second bulb breaks. This results in a worst case scenario of 19 drops.

Option 2: 19 drops is not the best worst-case scenario... imagine trying floor 16, if it breaks, you try 1 - 15 and thats 16 tries. If it doesn't break, then try floor 31 and if it breaks, then try 17 - 30 (so 16 tries, including the try on floor 16). And on and on (45, 58, 70, 81, 91, 100). If you reach 91, you'll have tried 7 floors so far and if it doesn't break, then there's 9 more tries to get to 100 (thus 16 in the worst case.)

Suggested answers:

Option 1: The interviewer is not looking for the right answer because there can be many. What he/she is looking for is your logical approach in solving the answer. So you could start by probing more is first I would like to understand if 5,623 participants represent the number of team or individuals. Then ask the next logical question based on the answer."

Option 2: 5,622. Assuming it is a single elimination tournament. All teams lose one game except the champs. It's always # of teams - 1.

Suggested answer: I'm not a mathematician, statistician, or highly analytical but if you pick up three socks they could still be all of same type -- even if the odds are 50%. Odds do not equal reality. So the only way to 'ensure you have a matching pair' is to pick up 11 of the 20. This is the only foolproof guaranteed way to get a pair (in the real world and not the world of odds.)

Q5: If you have a square room with no roof, and you had four flagpoles you had to plant on the walls so that each flagpole touched two walls, how would you do it?

Suggested answer: The answer was that by planting them on the corners, each one is touching two walls because each corner is part of two walls. I wanted to pierce two walls with a pole horizontally too. They said it was an innovative solution.

Suggested answer: You could do this with two weighings assuming its a two pan balance -- (1) place three balls on each side if they balance out then its the remaining three that has abnormal ball (2) out of that group, place one ball on each side - if balances it out, the abnormal ball is the remaining one. If the weighing in step (1) does not balance out, grab the group of three balls that is light or heavy and repeat step (2) described above."

Q7: You have 2 pieces of rope, each of which burns from one end to the other in 30 minutes (no matter which end is lit). If different pieces touch, the flame will transfer from one to the other. You cannot assume any rope properties that were not stated. Given only 1 match, can you time 45 minutes?

Suggested answer: Take one rope (Rope A), place it down as a circle. Light match and start burning rope A at the tips that are touching. When the rope completely burns out, 15 minutes will have passed (since both ends are burning and being consumed at once). Hold the second rope (Rope B) straight and place one end so that it will immediately catch fire when the two burning points from (Rope A) finally touch and are just about to burn out. Thus 15 minutes on Rope A + 30 minutes on Rope B gives you 45 mins.

Q8: In front of you are three light switches. Only one does anything, and it turns on the light downstairs. From here you can't see the light, and it makes no sound. You must determine which switch operates the light, but you can only go check it once. How do you figure out which switch is for the light?

Suggested answer: Flip any switch you want. Wait for about 5-10 minutes to let the bulb heat up. Flip that same switch off, and another one on. Go check the light. If it's off and hot, it was the first switch, if it's on it was the second and if it's cold and off, it was the last one.

The youngest billionaire in the world is now a father. Mark Zuckerberg and wife Priscilla welcomed a daughter into the world yesterday. Inspired by Maxima’s birth (yes, that’s the name they have given to the baby girl), Zuckerberg who’s already known for his charitable endeavours, made a big announcement. He will be donating 99% of his Facebook shares, valued at $45 billion.

Visibly excited and emotional, Zuckerberg and Priscilla also penned down a letter addressing their want of a better future for their daughter and other children all over the globe. In the letter, Zuckerberg announces that he’ll be giving away a whopping 99% of Facebook’s shares to charity.  The shares are worth over $45 billion and the money will be targeted towards child development, internet.org, and other charitable avenues.

He also elaborates on how this money will eventually help in advancing human potential and promoting equality. He also points out the fact that only long-term investment will help in establishing a better future.  With this pledge to charity, Zuckerberg has now joined the league of tech tycoons who have in the past given away their multi-billion fortunes. The list includes the likes of Bill Gates, Tim Cook and Elon Musk.
Two reigning Khans. A fortune worth billions. Global fame. Millions of crazy, obsessed fans. Two religions – Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. That’s the best way you can describe mainstream Bollywood.

With people in India taking films more seriously than anything else, it is no surprise that the clash of the two clans is always a subject of discussion and quite entertainingly so. Both Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have changed the face of Bollywood in their own unique ways. But sometimes, you gotta call a spade a spade.
Salman Khan and SRK have their own brand of fan following and for some very valid reasons. But there’s something that separates them; a quality or a lack of it that makes one of them a legend and an actor par excellence and the other, well, just a phenomenal star. It’s a difference most people overlook, but one that makes a world of a difference. Let’s face it. When it comes to performance, Shah Rukh stands where Salman can never reach. Shah Rukh Khan is a far better actor than Salman Khan. There you go, I said it. Take a bow, SRK.

No, don’t mistake me for a Salman Khan hater. I’ve got nothing against him. I’ve watched most of his films and I’ve rarely missed a weekend episode of 'Bigg Boss'. Neither am I one of those die-hard (read blind) SRK fans who were responsible for a film as bad as ‘Happy New Year’ breaking all box office records last year. No, we’re not challenging Salman’s stardom or his credibility. In all probability, he does have a more loyal (also aggressive) fan base and the fact that he has won so many hearts so effortlessly speaks volumes about his personality.

Apart from a cult following, there's another rare feat Shah Rukh Khan has achieved in a span of 25 years that most actors can't in a lifetime. He's carved a niche for himself and how! Romance is synonymous to Shah Rukh Khan and that is a result of the legacy of timeless love stories he has left behind. You may find his 'open arms' pose annoying today but let's face it, he's the man who showed us what romance looked like.
