Dalip Singh Rana, A.K.A The Great Khali was injured badly in a recent fight at a sports event in Haldwani, Uttarakhand. The 44-year-old wrestler was participating in the first event of ‘The Great Khali Show’ at the Rajiv Gandhi International stadium when the unfortunate incident happened.

A report published in Hindustan Times claimed that ‘foreign fighters’ were responsible. He has been admitted to the ICU division of Brijlal Hospitals after head and back injuries.

Before the event Khali had made an emotional speech denouncing his opponents who said that his career was finished. “People keep making these empty threats and useless statements every day. If they have the guts they should stop talking and come and meet me in the ring and then we will see who is who.”

“Just because we are Indians they think they are superior and can say and do whatever they want. They have not only challenged me but also the spirit of India and I am not going to let them win.
